Where does Louis David stand in 2011? His first 4 years in the music business, years of hard work and dedication that has seen him throw his life into dance music, and yes!, there’s still room for growth artistically and professionally. Alarmingly good deck skills and completely comfortable in his own culture, itching for progress and further creative empowerment all, Louis has strode into the year with increasing maturity and prowess.

Louis David, whose sound and style are at once rooted in the musical heritage of his native Venezuela, began mixing at very particulars parties alongside various established DJs that launched the bi-monthly “Minigrooves” parties at the top notch venues from all around South Florida. It was during this period that he met good friend from Suara Juan Rojas, who together built an essential successful team very well respected in the Miami Techno scene. In 2009 Louis David launched Wehppa Music, a digital record label which concentrates on more experimental, funky and minimal sounds, a vision of mixed experimentations, sensuality and dance-floor grooves. Wehppa rapidly got recognition on the international scene for the high quality and diversity of its output. In less than 2 years, Louis David has shared booth with potential talents with the UN_MUTE brand such as Marco Carola, Lee Burridge, Tiefschwarz, Nina Kraviz, Onur Ozer, Lucio Aquilina, Butch, Federico Locchi, Simon Baker, Masomenos, and others

Louis David is a perfect blend of natural talent and raw flare with very distinctive music. Through his focus on music quality and originality, as well as his performances on an international level there is no doubt that Louis David is becoming one of the leaders in the Miami underground electronic sound.
